JBS Home Improvements is available for all types of renovations and repairs. We have done additions, full basement renovations and handicapped bathroom and bedroom alterations. We bring in the best local trades for plumbing, electrical, drywall and painting as well as furnaces and other heating and cooling needs. Morgan will consult with homeowners when they need to analyze quotes and estimates from roofing companies, liase with the municipality for permits, sort out multiple quotes from other contractors, and so on. Basically we will walk homeowners through the process from beginning to end and answer all of the questions that arise when dealing with the many aspects of home renovation.

WHAT  WE  HAVE DONE IN RECENT YEARS
Stairs & landings on an awkward, narrow incline beside a house creating multiple uses where there were none
Large, ground level deck with pavers in a path, all ready for furniture and fun
The deck was built on a sloping part of the yard that wasn't usable before

Walk in shower with multiple shower choices, including rain shower head and hand held shower
Large black, stacked slate wall face around a beautiful linear fireplace, including a full remote control with multiple settings
Custom wood double casement window, with exterior aluminum cladding and fold away crank handles
This open concept custom kitchen includes two islands, multiple cabinet features, quartz counters, built in GE Monogram appliances, and much more (the sink is flanked by temporary plywood counters waiting for the new quartz).
The gas range is paired with a Miele downdraft fan with up to 600 CFM of draw, utilizing a remote fan and vent making it virtually silent
This outdoor deck and pergola was built using multiple material types, including EON vinyl decking, custom cedar and fir, and stained treated lumber
This exterior linear fireplace is built into a concrete surround, supported by a concrete footing, and then dressed with cultured stone
This front door unit is made of fiberglass, with wrought iron custom glass inserts (in this picture it's still waiting for the custom stained mouldings)
This small landing half way down a custom stair case, is made more fun and interesting by adding this curved railing feature
Along with some new fencing this custom privacy pergola was added to create a cozy corner adjacent to the hot tub
This new gym was added under an existing deck but was completely rebuilt as an addition. The high density custom rubber flooring is made specifically for this use

These two pictures show a couple of features of this large walk-in shower, including double shower heads, hand held shower, trench drain, large 12 by 24 tile, and a fully heated floor
The trench drain allows the use of large floor tile, sloping slightly to the drain. The two 10 mm custom glass panels flank an opening with no door

The outdoor klitchen we created includes all built-in appliances and cabinets, and, is completely built from concrete, stone and stainless steel
By turning the stair case half way down from the upper deck we were able to open up this area and make more room for the hot tub, some furniture, and a privacy pergola
One of several custom door units we've installed in recent years, this double door set is built from Douglas Fir and has Low E thermal glass inserts

This farm house addition and new deck was a challenging project located in Aldergrove. We wanted the addition to look like it had been there from the beginning, while adding a modern, expansive deck with custom stairs and landings
